You are new in Herford?

Herford invites its new residents to get to know the city on a free city tour and to get an initial overview.

The 90-minute tour does not focus on dates, numbers and historical facts, but is intended to help you find your way around. You will be shown places for example such as the town hall, the Marta, the market hall or the "Gänsemarkt" with "Weinrichs chocolate" . In addition to information about the places in the city center, you will also learn about things worth knowing about some big players in Herford.

Registration is generally not necessary.

The tour usually takes place in German. If you need a translator for English or another language, please contact the tourist information on 05221 - 189 1526 or tourist-info@herford.de. We then try to find a person who can translate during the tour. There is no entitlement to a translator.
